Saint Leo the Great Pope of Rome
Also known as Leo I · Pope Leo the Great · Leo of Rome
Pope of Rome (440-461) and great defender of Orthodox doctrine, whose Tome upheld the two natures of Christ and was acclaimed at the Fourth Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon in 451. He also turned back Attila the Hun from Rome.
