Venerable Thalassius and Limnaeus of Syria
Also known as Thalassios · Limnaios
Syrian ascetics of the fifth century. Thalassius spent some thirty-eight years in stillness on a hill near the village of Targala; his disciple Limnaeus lived in open-air asceticism, bearing illness with patience, and later was joined to Saint Maron.
