Saint Olympias the Deaconess of Constantinople
Also known as Olympiada
A wealthy widow of Constantinople who, made a deaconess, poured out her whole great fortune upon the Church and the poor, and stood faithfully by St John Chrysostom in his exile, sharing in his sufferings.
